Interim executive director leaves job

Kevin Boyer, interim executive director of The Washington Center, has left his job.

It’s reported that other key staff members have also left.

There’s no word from either Boyer or the Center’s Board of Directors as to why these staff members have left.

Boyer had been the marketing director of The Center since 2005 and had been in the theater business for more than 25 years. He took over the position of interim director this year while the Center’s Board of Directors searched for a permanent director.

To date, no new executive director has been hired. It’s not known who will take over Boyer’s job.
