Greg Cuoio – Decision maker
May 31st, 2011 by Ken
Greg Cuoio, who is leaving as Lacey’s city manager at the end of this month, after 24 years at the helm, had a word of advice about the future of the area.
Speaking on KGY AM’s Decision Makers, Tuesday at Two, Cuoio said that local city governments were going to have to stay frugal for several years as he didn’t see the economy picking up speed soon.
He also said that traffic on Interstate Five is going to be a problem and that a regional approach will be necessary. To that end, funding has already been set aside to do a study about the future of the interstate between Maytown and Nisqually.
