New name for fire district

Now that the City of Lacey and Fire District 3 have merged, it’s time to talk about a new name for the combined services.

In the not to distant past, the fire district convened a group of citizens to pick out a new name for the district.  It was unable to agree on anything substantial.

So, I’ve decided to add my input and give them their new name.

It should be Lacey Intergrated Fire and Emergency Services.

In otherwords LIFE Services.

Instead of young children saying, here comes the fire truck, they’ll say “Here comes the Life Truck.”

It’s brilliant, even if it is my idea.
