No county voter’s guide

May 28th, 2009 by Ken

It’s official.  Thurston County will not have a printed Voter’s Guide mailed to every household this year.  Thurston County Auditor Kim Wyman confirms that the guide has fallen victim to the economic time.

Wyman estimates that not printing the voter’s guide and mailing it to 100,000 households, will save the county about $60,000.

Instead the Voter’s Guide will be on-line and available for everyone to access.  In addition, a smaller guide will be distributed to public facilities such as libraries.
