Quick Lacey facts

This is the 234th week since coliform bacteria was found in the Lacey water system. The city disinfected the system and added chlorine and the water supply has been clean every since.
The City of Lacey became one of the first cities in the state to be given authority to enforce the Forest Practices Act within its own boundaries. The Washington State Department of Ecology gave the city the authority in April.
There are 32 public restrooms in the Regional Athletic Complex now open on Marvin and Steilacoom roads. The RAC is operated by the City of Lacey.
