Bob Carino dies
Former Lacey Councilman Bob Carino has died in Virginia. He was 78.
Carino was on the Lacey City Council from November 1975 when he replaced Julio Silva and served until July 1977 when he was replaced by Mark Brown. He had previously served on the Lacey Civil Service Commission and on the Board of Equalization.
Carino was an active member of the Lacey business community where he served for a short while as the executive director of the Lacey Chamber of Commerce. He had worked as the marketing director of Panorama City and was self-employed in real estate.
He and his wife Pat moved to Virginia in the 1980’s to be able to play golf year around.
