Tenino tables plastic bag ban

The Tenino City Council tabled – indefinitely – – any action on a plastic bag ban in the city.   The action came at its regular Tuesday evening meeting.

The City of Yelm has indicated it will take no action on a plastic bag ban but has not yet made that decision public.

The City of Lacey is considering asking for more public input before taking action.

The cities of Olympia and Tumwater have approved a plastic bag ban.   Thurston County Commissioners have also taken action to ban plastic bags in the unincorporated areas of the county.
