State rep recruits local candidates

State representative Chris Reykdal has sent out a call for people interested in running for local office, to contact him.

He pointed out that city council, school board, fire commissioner and many other local offices are up for election this year.  If you know someone who is running or thinking about running, have them contact me, Reykdal said.

The first term state representative told them to use his private facebook page.

“We have to ensure that we have high quality forward-thinking leaders, at all levels,” he said.
