Betz replaces Rex

With the start of school just a couple of weeks away, the Olympia School District has made an administrative change.

Ryan Betz has replaced Peter Rex as communications director for the district. Rex, who served six years in that capacity, has left to take a full time faculty position at South Puget Sound Community College.

Betz had been working as the resource development director for the Boys and Girls Club of Thurston County. He will start on September 1.
