Statistic of the week

Washington has spent $827 million of some $4 billion in federal stimulus money.   According to Governor Chris Gregorie’s office, the $827 million has created OR SAVED 1800 jobs.  By my way of figuring that amounts to $459,000 a job.  (Most of the saved jobs have been in government.)
