Sonic fans can turn south

If you’re a Sonic fan and the start of the NBA season has you crying over the loss of the Sonics to Oklahoma, then you can take some heart.

The Portland Trail Blazers, yes, the Portland Trail Blazers, may be your home team for a while.  Former Sonic coach Nate McMillan is now the coach of the Trailblazers.  That might be reason enough to transfer your loyalty to Portland, at least until the City of Seattle puts some money into Key Arena.

And, KGY radio, which broadcast the Sonics for years, will begin broadcasting the Trailblazers with the first game set for November 4.   That’s 1240 am for those looking for the dial code.
